The Lock Haven University Visual and Performing Arts Department is proud to host the second annual online exhibition featuring graduating seniors’ artwork in 2021.

This year’s Virtual Graduating Senior Art Show features the artwork of Emily Diaz and Shatana Moné.

The online gallery exhibition showcases a body of work that reflects each contributing artist’s aesthetic vision and creative skills.  Each graduating senior has created a series of works that are thematically and conceptual related according to their own unique artistic sensibilities.  The aesthetic goal is to present a cohesive body of work that explores an aesthetically engaging and thought-provoking experience for the viewer.

“The Lock Haven University’s Visual and Performing Arts Department is proud to Present a virtual gallery experience showcasing the artworks of Shatana Mone’ and Emily Diaz. Shatana and Emily are graduating seniors in LHU’s Visual Arts BFA Program for spring 2021.   Both seniors have presented a series of works that are conceptually unified and inspired by their own individual aesthetic sensibilities.  Although circumstances have been inordinately challenging during their senior year at LHU, Emily’s and Shatana’s tireless creative energy has not wavered, and the evidence of this collective determination is reflected in the quality of their artworks as presented in their Graduating Senior Art Show at LHU,” said Vance McCoy, Associate Professor of Visual Arts and Primary Supervisor and Curator for the Spring 2021 Graduating Senior Art Show.

The 2021 Virtual Graduating Senior Art Show will be available online through May 7, 2021.
